What is the best way to strengthen your immune system?

Vaccinations for viruses are not very effective. Viruses are always transmuting themselves, which is why there is always a new variant of the Covid virus. Even before Covid, many people would get the flu even if they had gotten the flu vaccine. They don’t work, and they trick and depress your immune system. I have never gotten a flu shot.

2 – Strengthen your own immune system to super strength.

Start with checking your vitamin D levels in a blood test. The standard range is 30 to 100 but most Oregonians who do not supplement are in the 10 to 20 range. Vitamin D vastly strengthens our immune system as well as helping bone density, mood and hormones. I look for 60 to 80 on a blood test. It increases slowly, so take daily, don’t wait to get sick.

Vitamin C is crucial as well. Many mammals make their own Vitamin C, but humans do not. Take 2000mg per day preferably of Liposomal C. If you are around someone who is sick or just to boost your immune system, take herbal formulas known to help. At Maximum Health Clinic we have our famous Immune Tincture and Golden Immune. Or you can get echinacea at a health food store.

At the first sign of flu symptoms or if you were exposed, take vitamin C and the herbs every 2 hours you are awake. Zinc really boosts the immune system. Take some preventively and especially if you get symptoms.

Power up your microbiome in your gut, your whole body will thank you. Eat organic food so you’re not eating roundup which kills the healthy bacteria in your gut. Minimize red meat, eat a diet of mostly whole foods, mostly plant based, not too much. The more fiber and more colorful the plants in your diet are, the more polyphenols you get, and you increase the variety and vitality of bacteria in your gut that gives you a strong immune system.
